Connie's laptop came in today. I think I'm going to try to hook her up with the world of myspace and whatnot, so look out internet!
In other news, I was on the bus today listening to music on my *intentionally unspecified make of mp3 player* but with my hoodie over the headhones. I do this to keep them dry when it rains. Anyways minh - a guy from work - jumps on the same bus as me and says hello. Of course I didn't hear him so he sat next to me assuming I was somehow engaged in a conversation with the lady next to me. It wasn't until about 30 seconds later he tapped me on the arm and said hello again, because he relised I was just sitting there.
This story is pretty stupid and boring until you realise that the headhones I use are those massive padded over the head style ones that people in the 80's used to use... I have no idea how minh didn't see them. Come to think of it, what kind of a jerk must I be that people assume I would ignore them to carry on a conversation with a stranger before they assumed I didn't hear them D:

And anyway - that's what happens when you listen to music! I nearly got run over today because I failed to notice that there was a car wanting to turn into where I was walking across. They didn't beep me or anything, but I probably should've noticed.
There wasn't really any point to my comment, except for saying that: you're not a jerk ^_^
