sup sup sup sup sup?
japan soon :O only a couple more sleeps, it's so exciting. I haven't traveled properly with connie before so this will be a new experience for us. A test of our marital bonds. Breaking new ground. All that stuff.

In non-japanese news, I stayed up til 6am doing a movie for the young adults ministry that is starting up tonight (come along! 7:30pm at chorch). I have this feeling that they aren't going to use it. I'm not sure why, but if they don't then the space above is reserved for an angst filled vent about wasted time and such. I was playing WoW inbetween rendering sessions, so it wasn't all wasted I suppose. Unless you're not a nerd, in which case the WoW time probably seems to you just as wasted as the movie time.

In news just to hand, apparently I walk differently when I am acting.

I put my board in for a scrape down on sunday. I hope they don't noob it up and scrape the wrong side. They did a pretty bad job waxing it so I'm a little cautious so to speak. Maybe if they screw over my board I can steal the customx I saw for sale there when I dropped my board off. Mmmmm customx...... sorry what? oh yeah, blog. For all those googlers who drop in on my page here is my top 5 boards I have ridden on in my life:

1. Burton BMC (now called the customx) 161
2. Libtech dark series 155
3. Burton SL (i think that was it's name) 159
4. salomon 350 157
5. forum explorer 165

Just looking at that list... I think I need to ride more boards. Chito's woebag oxygen board was kinda fun to ride, but I don't think I'd want to own it. Connie's oldschool policecar board was ok... a little chunkous. I snapped a rad air, so it gets automatic last place. I've also ridden a real small salomon that chenny hired in japan last time which was woe, and a couple of hire boards from time to time. Most of them were pretty average. I'm not going to go into the wanky snowboarding lingo for why the boards were good, because tbh, a board to me either feels good or not. My libtech doesn't wobble about when I'm going fast, it's easy to ride on the pipe, and it seems to be fairly durable so I'm happy :)

stay tuned when I am back from japan for photos and videos of me attempting stupid things in the halfpipe :D

If anyone lives in sydney and is free tomorrow night, come for a waterslide and skating session. It promises to be the best watersliding and skating session you'll go to this week, or your money back!
