I am like a bird
Yesterday I was skating along the gutter at the side of the road in the part where cars can park (but none were parked there). As I was rolling along minding my own business this guy swerved hard towards me and back again in an effort to pretend to run me over. Now, I have about 1-2 near misses with people running me over every day on my skateboard so needless to say I jumped off my board for fear of some idiot running me over. As he sped past his friend leaned half out the window and laughed in a cackling laugh at me. So I gave him the bird.

Probably shouldn't have.

Diablo IRL
On the weekend I'm goign to this thing where they do miraculous healing and exorcism, so if I have any demons I might be exorcised. This week I've been thinking back to all the experiences in my life where I have engaged in the occult or other things that apparently expose you to spiritual attack... there's more than I first would have thought:

* horoscope
* mind, body, spirit festival (whole day of occult basically)
* palm reading
* weird house blessing ceremony that I'm pretty sure counts
* various feng shui/ying yang pendants and plants and stuff over time
* does shopping at tree of life count?

anyhoo the one I reckon is the worst is mind body spirit festival... there would have been about 1000000 witches and shamans and warlocks and faries and whatever else there, plus psychics and aura photogrpaher/readers and tarot card peoples and all sorts of other stuff. Actually the house blessing was pretty bad too.

Interestingly, we had a fungus growing in our house a couple of months ago, so we totally whipped out this vial of holy water that we got, for some unknown reason, from a church we visited at easter and prayed a blessing on the house and sprinkled holy water around the lounge room. The fungus there went away, but there is still lots of fungus in nathan's room, so we'll have to try it there next. I guess you could put most spiritual happenings down to coincidence, but over time, as they consitently continue to happen, it's hard to ignore the weight of so many coincidences put together.

So much weird crap goes on in the world that you just don't ever hear about on the news or anything, it's totally amazing. If I get demons cast out of me on friday/saturday I'll let you know here :P
