Pirates!
This weekend was a bit of a shambles. Friday, God decided to water the garden so rain abandonded play in our youth group's wide game for the evening. Instead we had a little crazy eating competition, which was really funny and inspirational. Funny because dudes that I thought would like never eat something as unappealing as a raw egg totally chowed down, and inspiring because it was a really fun night prepared at the last minute.

The other thing that is cool is that zion (the younger group) is growing a lot, and has been for the last twelve months or so. That's a really encouraging sign, and means that the group is healthy. While the cross is also making a few leaps ahead in maturity and functionality, it could soon use some difference and fresh new energy injected into it. It will be interesting to see if that happens and how. This friday should be a start.

After the crazy eating I drove into the national park and up to the Deer Park camp site for our BBB weekend away. It was nice. I did a lot of fishing and caught up with some people I hadn't really seen for a while. I also met a crazy loud person called denise who seemed to know like every christian in the sutherland shire just about. Very strange.

Myf came up on sunday to provide us with a camera for shooting pirate movies but sadly her camera wasn't working so we were all left standing slightly confused, dressed up as pirates and feeling a bit weird. It was fun though.

Church was great too on sunday night. I got to sit on a beanbag and chill while the service was going on. It was nice.

when I get net back I'll post some more photos.
