Live Entry: Requires that the commercial invoice, original export license (if applicable), customs entry, and estimated duties must be submitted to U.S. Customs and Border Protection before the shipment can be released. There is normally a one day delay on live entry shipments. If additional information is needed, UPS will contact the consignee.

I think it means my camera has been cleared and is awaiting shipping, but it could mean it's impounded and facing a firing squad by week's end. You never really know with all the transport-jargon filled sentances that you cop from the UPS tracking site. I feel like I'm in the army or something just reading it.

"Copy that delta brigade, I got the 10-4 on the charlies in the Opera Bravo sector over!"

Anyways hopefully it should come soon, because my lens arrived today, so now I have optics but nothing to put them on :P In other news, I went to missy higgins last night, it was cool. Thanks to everyone who birthday messaged me. I am very appreciative. It's nice to be loved sometimes :)

It's muh birthday :)
Well, birthday is 3/4 over and so far it has been nice. I got lots of well wishes and such, and louise from work brought in all these cakes and stuff for everyone to eat. How pro is that? :D

In camera news, I got an email saying my SLR is in transit, and a UPS tracking number to find out where it is. I looked it up and it appears it's in Australia, but delayed by customs so I should receive it tomorrow. Here's the UPS report:

weekend roundup!

saturday::
I taught connie how to ride a bike! We went to bicentennial park with don and tanya (work people) and rode around for a while. It's seriosuly the fastest I've ever seen connie pick anything up. She did really well. She had some trouble figuring out that to break you squeeze the little lever, rather than putting your feet down, but other than that she was top notch.

After bikes I had lunch with baka from NS at shinoya (sadly no drunken fighting this time) and then went home and played poker tournaments all night, while chatting to various people online. It was fun.

sunday::
I woke up ridculously early and went to sutherland to help Dan choose a deck for his new skateboard. We pretty much just walked in, grabbed a deck, and then left. It was quite efficient. He chose a blue one, it looks pretty nice. $50 with free grip tape for those that were wondering.

I then went straight to connie's parentals and had a small nap before my quietish birthday bbq. I had the eclectical people and my family around for some nice food, and some nice conversations. Nathan showed up late which was a nice suprise. The eclectical dudes gave me a dwayne wade singlet which was like the most uber presant ever. Mad props to them.

After the bbq I went to church, and then we put dan's deck together and had a skate at engadine. The youth dudes are meant to be meeting tomorrow to figure out who will be doing what for their leadership things. I probably didn't organise it very well the way I did it, but it'll be beneficial for them to work all the problems out themselves. I'm looking forward to seeing how they manage it all.

Still no camera. Although 30 mins ago I got a call saying my lens had been dispatched. It should arrive tomorrow or wednesday.
