in a wirlwind tun of events, there's a chance I might be buying some land. This property near my dad's house is for sale and me and connie are thinking of buying it as an investment. If we can get like the first home buyers schemey thing, and all the other jazz that the government props you up with when you are a massive povvo then it shouldn't be too much of a downer financially. We don't really like the idea of being in debt for 20 years :O

Anyways the place is in qld which will be interesting if we go there to live. I think it's healthy to live somewhere other than where you were born though. I dunno if we'll move there in the short term. I have quite a few plans in NSW that need to be attended to first. Still, it's pretty exciting to think we might have some land soon and be working towards owning a place of our own :D

I love this game!
what a game! Basketball was crazy tonight. We had nine players to start the game which is way too many, and everyone was pumped for our top of the table clash with the only team that had beaten us all season so far. Last time we played them we lost by one point :O

Everyone was kind of nervous so we all were shooting pretty badly. Luckily our defence was outstanding so we kept the other team's scoring down as well. I'm ashamed to say at halftime the score was 8-3 their way which is so dismal :D but we were starting to get on top a bit and we came out well in the second half. I scored 5 points in the second half and didn't turn it over tooooo much so I was happy. Fat hit a couple of big threes as well to keep us in the lead and we managed to take the game out by about eight points. We got like 28 points in the second half and 3 in the first. How bizarre!

Anyway it was heaps fun, and one of those games that makes you remember why you play.

Mi casa tu casa?
Well I got my computer back so I can catch up on this blog thing :O Last week I pretty much did nothing. I got a new graphics card on friday, and upon closer inspection, the old one was broken from connie's hair being caught in the cooling fan. So I fixed that and I'll probably give it to her. Friday night at the cross was nice. We watched mean machine and ate pizza. Martin's little brother beat up cutler. After the cross at about midnight I rocked over to telford in the national park and set up a LAN for the bucks party boys to play some dark reign. My computer was playing up so I couldn't join in.

Saturday was a wedding, I videotaped it. It was stressful. I did get to catch up with cat and mick a little which was nice. Amanda (the bride) and keats (the groom) both looked great. They are really nice people too, I hope they have a wonderful life. After the wedding I went home and sleeped.

Sunday I went to Karaoke and yum cha with all the anime people. I was most definately the token white guy :D we had a great time. It was sheralyn's going away party though which is sad. I don't really see her very often, but now I'll see her less. Anyways Karaoke was fun, we did a 3 hour stint. By the end everyone was pretty tired and croaky :D which is what you want I guess.
