EVERYBODY BE COOL THIS IS A ROBBERY
Some goons busted into our house yesterday and stole a whole bunch of our stuff. Here's some of what is gone:

SLR
video camera
ps2 + all games
DVDs
CDs
My monitor
MP3 player
money

As I sit here and play guitar wondering why I'm not heaps worried about my stuff that went missing, I'm pretty happy I don't work long hours to afford nice stuff for myself, because essentially those hours would have been wasted, I'd have bought more nice stuff that would have been just as stolen as the rest of my stuff. I think there's a lot to be said for living humbly and just appreciating what you have, and I'm certainly doing that at the moment. I'm insured, so I guess I'll get some of my stuff replaced. We'll see what happens I guess :D

Friday::
Went fishing with youth group and I actually caught a fish :O it was about 20cms? a bream, and I got it on a k-mart rod without really paying attention. Just dropped the line over the side of the wharf and it caught itself. I was very stoked after that, so I organised to go fishing again on sunday with emma, alyisah (elissa) and martin. Maybe cutler too.

Saturday::
Tried to go shopping for connie's birthday present but she was totally around all the time dammit :( I bought myself some black converse allstars instead on sale $55. Put them in the cupboard for when my current ones die :D After shopping tenny picked me up and we went and played some guitar with chenny. It was pretty fun. I learned quite a bit, but I'm still pretty crap. Uber crap actually. Still, I'm progressing which is the main thing. I can kinda play most stuff slowly now, unless it requires finger picking.

You know how in summer the sun fools you by never going to bed? Well it was like that on saturday. We were hanging out playing maple story at chenny's waiting for 7pm and before we knew it it was 9:30 :| So I was at daphne's for like 5 mins which sucked because lots of people I haven't seen for ages were there. I also left my wallet in thornleigh so I had to drive back and get that as well. Troubled times.

Sunday::
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT I want to live in the fridge for the rest of my life. That would be cool LOL. I went to the beach twice today, and just tried not to die of heat exhaustion. I saw ruthy which was nice, and ate a mango, Connie was feeling a little sick :( she needs a ice cube dispensor that she can take places with her to cool her off because she's so hot right now.
