ketchup post... HAHAHAA
Ouch. The last few days have been CRAZY. I've been at this manly conference, and it's wrecked me eh. Getting up at like 6am and starting at 8 at manly, then we had this weird gala dinner at luna park (with free rides :D) that further killed me. The guy who used to host blockbusters hosted the dinner. He's still a chump.

The whopdunnit night thing at youth groups went ok today. I basically just acted like an arrogant director (which was my part) and everyone seemed to know all my "dirty secret past" without me having to divulge it which kind of put me off a bit because I had nothing to tell them. Naturally because it then looked like I was hiding something a lot of people suspected me. I didn't actually do it though.

Kneed a hand?
Due to the busted up knee I had to hobble to work witht he aid of my new skateboard (that is consequently no faster for the addition of new bearings :( I made it pretty well, but instead of taking about 40 mins to get to work it took over an hour. Anyways after all that I ended up playing basketball anyway. Our team had 6, and chenny got injured worse than I was, so I subbed in. Luckily we're both kinda ok now. We won the game, I didn't really do anything good.

I think it's high time I went to karaoke again, it's been ages!

My old bones ache
Injury status!
  • knee - busted up good

  • leg - court burned all up the side

  • thigh - corked
    Hrmm, all localised to my left leg. Anyone got a hacksaw? Despite my injuries I managed to do a tayshan prince on reggie miller in the game last night, only the guy up the other end didn't drain the three to win the game.

    On thursday/friday I finally do get to travel for work overseas! dot dot dot... but it's only to manly :D

    Interesting
    I had a revelation in church tonight... God gave me some convictions about how the service should be. I was going to write it down and talk to someone about it but I was being strongly led to share them then and there, so I did in front of everyone. It was really hard because I didn't know if I should be doing it, but it turned out OK I think. Everyone was really supportive. This probably sounds like a load of cockamamy crap if you don't have faith, but if I could like take a demo from 1st person perspective of what was going on for me then you'd probably understand a bit better how God works in people.

    Anyways it was a very unique experience, I hope it helps the youth ministry become what it is meant to be.

    Nice weekend
    I was sick all weekend, but I went to the blue mountains with connie anyways and I think I can safely say that I got more sleep there without X-men legends around, than I would have here at home. We drove around katoomba a bit, there was lots of bizarre stuff to see. I saw 2 bus loads full of japanese school girls and boys.

    Every...Single...One of them

    Had at least a half a bag of timtam packets. Sometimes up to two plastic bags full. Since tim tams seemed to be such a precious commodity, connie and myself bought a packet. I also saw a 9 year old girl drop in on the half pipe at katoomba and ollie over the top of the bowl. She's a better skater than I am. There was other girls there that were pretty mad as well, but they were older. It was weird being bested by a child.

    I had a nice massage from this hotel place as well, but the guy before me was flirting with the masseusse and ate into my hour... bummer. Nothing much else is going on. Seeya's monday :D
