crikey!
Thursday was a pretty uneventful dat so I'll just skip right ahead to friday...
I worked from home again this morning, finsihing off the tradeshow movie for work. It was nice to not have to rush out the door fearing lateness. I got a lot done too, but my productivity was coarsely ended by meetings when I got into the office.

After work I went to the driving range with the cross because I'm now a leader of that instead of zion. It was pretty fun to just whack the crap out of balls all night. I even hit a few happy gilmore style, and they went pretty far :D Good company, good times, good night.

In other bizarre news, cutler has a blog :O I'll link it if he tells me where it is.

What a game!
I watched the sydney kings play their home opener tonight after work with fatman. We just bought the cheapest seats we could for the game, and kicked back to watch some good basketball. The kings played like crap tbh... they were down by 20 with a quater to play and there was much shaking of heads and hitting of foreheads all about. Some of the crowd were booing the new import for the kings because he played like an absolute beginner, airballing shots and losing the ball all the time. Anyways they started the last quater well, and went on to bring the game back to contest with a couple of minutes left, mostly becfause of jason smith. They were down by two with about 8 seconds to play and smith hoists up this three point shot that somehow goes in and the whole crowd went crazy like we'd won the grand final or something. It was really cool.

Afterwards I caught a train home and connie happily picked me up from the station. The spider in the lounge room is still missing.

...and in the summer time when the weather is fine
I rode to work at about 10am today, and it was friggin hot. So hot I almost wanted to touch the colloquial hieny. It kinda sux that winter is over because I wont be able to go snowboarding anymore, but by the same token I will get to eat a lot of mangoes, so all is not lost as they say.

Exciting news of the day is that we got a pet! A pet huntsman spider in our house. He scurries around the lounge room and eats moths. He had two today alone which is pretty awesome. I totally hate spiders so it's taking a lot of getting used to, but when I see the dead moths it almost makes it tolerable. My advice for you is that if you ever come to my house, just be a bit careful... because most of the time we don't know where he is. Which is a bit shifty. I guess we'll see if I can balls up and live in a relaxed state even knowing the spider is there, otherwise he might meet a grisly end on the underside of my shoe.

Basketball was good. We lost but I played ok. Chenny totally dogged it due to some unconfirmed and highly speculatatory foot injury that he allegedly obtained playing indoor soccer. My guess is that he was just too scared of the fearful macquarie lawyers basketball juggernaut that he had to invent injury stories to avoid humiliation :D

Home again :D
I had an early basketball game tonight so afterwards me and connie had dinner at my mum's house. It was quite nice to sit around and chat. Dee and ali (his girlfriend) were there as well. We all ate chiiiicken and talked about how crap my mums shower is. Incidently my mum's shower is so crap... you cant get enough water throughput to keep you wet, it totally evaporates before you can even muster enough wetness to get some lather happening. Never shower at my old house, just wait til you get home. I have no idea how anyone there washes their hair.

After dinner I helped the kiddies put their film together for uni. It turned out pretty good, so we'll see how it goes on wednesday when they hand it in.

Friday::
I was up til 5am fixing up my website... which is finally done. http://www.flaskfilms.com it has some stuff on it currently, but I'll probably fix up a few of the incomplete pages over the next few weeks. My new film is up there as well, navigate around and find it for yourself. Comment and let me know what you think.

Saturday::
I woke up really late of course, and had a massive craving for gyudon (japanese BBQd beef on rice) but alas shinoya was already closed because lunch was over. I basically just bought Halflife 2, and played some guitar and hung around until the afternoon. Later on I picked chenny up, and with connie we went to zone3 in campbelltown (lazer shooting game thing where you run around like an idiot). It was a triple B camp reunion gathering thingy. We played 3 games with these dudes from a bucks party and a bunch of nerds... Well, nerds we didn't know anyways. Everyone was scared that we'd get our asses kicked because they looked a lot nerdier than us, but we came through with the nerdy goods and prevailed. I came 1st, 1st and 2nd out of about 20 people in the three games. I blame my last shortcoming on dave V who continually followed me around shooting me in the back.

We all went back to Tara's after and ate some BBQ. John Howard won the election which was crap, but we drowned our sorrows by going for a skate at about 11pm. I was grinding a lot better, and I learned to manual across the manual pads a bit too. Also started learning how to rock to fakey, but dropping in is sketchy for me at best, so I'm a fair bit off being able to do that well. Got home at about 5am :D it was a pretty solid session.



Sunday::
I had a massive meeting today about some of the less good stuff that went on at blackstump. We were deciding what to do about it. The outcome was ok, but it wont really affect the more naive people involved. I think it'll go straight over their heads. I guess it doesn't really matter anyways, you can't really change the past. They showed my new movie in church tonight, it went over pretty well. It was really nice for the actors to be able to soak up the love a bit because some of them couldn't go to blackstump.
