TIE GAME??!?!?

ok something vaguely interesting to non basketball fans happened today at basketball... this guy hit a shot from just past half way at the end of the game to tie it up. Unfortunately it wasn't someone on our team, but it was still impressive.

Other than that little gem, i just been work work working on the film. I hope people like it.

When stuffed animals attack!

Woah I nevar update anymore... I think it's because of the movie. It's due in two days time and I haven't finsihed it yet, so basically all my non sleeping/eating/socialising time is going into that. We had a little setback with music but I'm hoping that we can figure out a solution and then later this week I might post a preview up on this blog.

Anyways here's a recap of the weekend - as is the style nowdays:

Friday: Went to UTS with my boss and collegues to look around. We ended up in the bar afterwards talking and didn't make it back to work :D It was great. I skated up to glebe at about six to meet up with bunny, chenny hatman etc. to go see the usyd arts review. Neal (who i met through flaming each other on the net) and dave were in it... it was really great. It's basically just like sketch comedy with a few musical numbers, but it's a lot better than the stupid sketches that are all the rage on comedy inc and that. After the show we got gelato, didn't go to karaoke :( and went home. Happily bunny drove me to my door so I could get lots of sleep for...

Saturday: Got up rediculously early (8am) for a wedding. I was videoing it and I'm pretty sure it was a disaster. I was changing tapes as they started saying their vows :O but I might be able to wing it somehow. Maybe I'll overdub the vows onto some file footage myself... The reception was nice, but i was so tired and dead we just went home after and crashed out. The gyroscope gig I was looking forward to going to that night was unfortunately cancelled.

Sunday: Sat around a lot, bought futurama boxsets, went to in-laws for dinner. Church was cool though, this guy spoke about the stuff that tear is doing in eithiopia and stuff. It was good to see some social justice stuff being talked about. Connie is a little cynical about the congregation's response to social issues because she's really passionate about them, so she was kinda angsty afterwards. It was ok though, and it's a good cause to be angsty about.
