ach! mein wristlaben!
I got up uber late and had some awesome bacon and eggs cooked by don and jen from my work. It's a little strange being on holiday with work people, but also fun. We went down the beach and kicked a ball around, basically just shooting the breeze. ON the way down we saw this girl and were arguing over how old we reckon she was. I said 15, and george said like 18. I think it was more wishful thinking on his part. We then were wondering what the chances are of marrying some stranger that you pass on the street when you are 21. And not just any street, a street an hour and a half from where you live. I'm guessing it's minute to the minutest degree, but everyone else seems to watch too many romantic comedies. They said the chances were better than that.

I caught a bus back to sydney (curtosy of cityrail's malfunctioning tendancies) and met up with connie around five. We went for a very cold moonlit skate/walk and then headed over to the attic to see anonymous gift's cd launch. It was suprisingly uncrowded compared to usual. I guess everyone must have been watching the oplympics. However it was like crazily good. One of their best shows ever. They even did an encore.

After the show I went skating with simmo and DV at summer hill. The park is pretty small, and there's not much for me to do there except practice drop ins. I did manage to land on my wrist practicing a grind. I thoguht it was broken but it seems ok now.

On the road again...
Slept through my alarma nd got to work at 12pm. Suffice to say I didn't break for lunch :D although a man has to eat, so minh kindly got me some sandwich thing. After work we all piled into cars and went up to the central coast. I pretty much played guitar all night. We watched some of the opening ceremony and stuff. It was nice. Everyone was playing some marvel monopoly game. I was on dave's team, and we only had one property so we spent the time making up songs about how being poor is woe.

FS 360 stalefish to manual with the mute!

After work I went skating for a few hours with chenny and the BBB leader skating crew. We went to menai and just hung out a bit. When we first got there I saw some of the most insane skating I've ever seen live before. These guys were getting like 2 feet in the air off the top of the quater pipes and ramps and trying spins and other tricks. It was quite crazy stuff.

After the pro's left and we didn't feel so intimidated, we took to the park. I shot a lot of footage, but the best thing evar was that me and chenny both pulled off some grinds. I did a 5/0 which is probably the first "thing-you'd-actually-get-points-for-in-tony-hawk" that I have ever done. Hooray!

achey breaky hunt
Had a nice skate with coggo at lunchtime at the waterloo skate park. It was quite 'derrelique' in that the ramps were chundered, there was some broken glass around etc. But apart from that a very enjoyable place to skate. I had a go dropping in on a steeper rollin and it went ok. I'm still heaps shakey at it though. I need a lot of work. Nearly grinding though.

After work I met up with chenny and we ran into lisa. So we all went for a quick pre-basketball skate and talked about snowboarding, it was nice. Basketball was ok, we didn't win again (and we should have) but i played ok, and had fun. Although I'm pretty sure I've screwed up something in my back which is nicht so gut. My left lower back/side is really aching still. After basketball I pretty much just installed neverwinter and played with the anime people. My druid kept dying a lot until maz and binga graciously pimped my ride with some e-bling.

ug *muffle* food? gimmie!
I worked uber late tongiht finsihing off something that had to go to america tomorrow morning. Got it done about... 7? which left no time for anything, so I caught a train straight to sutherland so I could play basketball. The game was fun, but we lost. I didn't play well. Connie picked me up and gave me some AWESOME mango and lime cakes that she had baked from a receipe book that gabby gave us for our wedding (thanks gab!). Mmmm so good. I watched bladerunner before bed. I dunno why everyone bats over it so much, it was ok but not the best movie ever.

brrrr its cold in here!

friday::
I played some DDR with chenny after work, and then went along to the
anonymous gift launch. It was pretty mad. They played two new songs I'd never heard before and I also found out my brother wrote some of the words for one of their songs :O weird. Drove home and worked til 2am on dee's computer trying to fix it so he could get his best man's speech off for the wedding the next day. Didn't work.

saturday::
slept through the drama meeting because I was up late :\ and even managed to be late for the wedding. We missed the bride walking in, and the first song, and part of the sermon. I reckon we did ok. The food at the wedding was awesome - but the wedding itself was a bit of a let down. I kinda got put on the table of "recently married people" instead of with my close friends. Meh. Those guys were fun to hang out with... except this one guy who just makes me feel angsty at the world. I mainly just chatted to amanda and naomi who are both way cool. I guess it wasn't so bad, just something this guy said made me burn with rage and sadness that someone could think like that. I had a quiet night at home playing warlords battlecry 3.

sunday::
I was meant to jam with chenny today but instead I was trying to fix dee's piece of crap computer. Stupid dell. I curse thee with the angst of 1000 linken park cds.
