red hunt, is about to die!
Well if I was a peon yesterday, today I was totally a guantlet warrior that hadn't had food recently... because I felt like I was about to die all day. I had a heaps long day of adding in features to the thing I'm working on at work, and I gave two demos of it to people. On the plus side I emailed it to a sales guy in adelaide, and put it on the laptop of another sales guy in the office, so it's being unleashed on the world tomorrow. It's nice to have worked really hard on something by yourself and see it finally being useful to people. Everyone seems to like it.

After work I went home and played a clan match for NS, but I was so disorientated I sucked the ass pretty badly. I ripped some cds to mp3 so I can listen to them on my mp3 player and then fell over asleep. I think sometimes I underestimate the value of sleep before bed, and overestimate it in the mornings when I'm in bed.

work work!
I'm totally a peon from WC3. The gigantic mouse icon in the sky yesterday sent me all the way over the other side of the map to mine gold for 8 hours, then back to the barracks and onto a cycle of washing clothes and hanging them out repetitively for some time. After that I think whoever was playing got into a big battle and was too busy micro-ing his hero to care too much about little me, so I got some idle time before the game was over.

I was sick again today so I just stayed home from work. I haven't updated my contact details since I moved house though so they were trying to call me at my mum's house and I think they thought I was dodging work or something, which makes no sense since I was dying yesterday. My mum told me they were trying to call so I ended up getting in touch with them. I was too sick for skateboarding tonight, so me and chenny just played quake 3 before basketball. Lucky as well, because our whole team played horrible at basketball, we totally sucked. We have no teamwork. After the match everyone was speculating as to why we lost, this time I don't think I can blame everyone else since I played bad too, but for the most part their speculation was pretty inaccurate. No one was trying hard enough. When you shoot bad, you have to try harder to make up for it.

backdating is win!

So sickness. I was coughing and spluttering over everyone at work today. I think people are like scared of catching what I had because they all were telling me to go home. I stayed anyways and got stuff done. After work reffed bball, and collapsed asleepness.

nothing! Oh sweet nothing!

I woke up late this morning and had some whimsy breakfast. Chenny played DDR while I fixed up my skateboard. I accidently put one of the trucks on backwards so when I went to test it out I almost fell off just by trying to go straight. Once I fixed it all up I had another test run and it's working nicely. It's great to have a board again.

Connie came with us down to the snake run (skating place at lidcombe) just to watch and hang out. It was a cruisey fun session of riding, and when we got bored of the park we tried a few more ollies in the carpark. Heaps cruisey and fun.

I dropped chenny off at strathfield station after skating and went to visit the in-laws. Funfun :D Connie's mum fed us, and then we went to my house. My parents weren't home so we just hung out til church. More skating after church :D I think I'm learning pretty quickly now.

Connie and I are both still pretty sick with colds, so if you see either of us, give hugs for health.

Bye ruthy!
Ruthy stopped by this morning for about two hours on her way out to the city for some reunion thing. It'll be the last time I see her for ages because she's going back to melbourne. It really is teh sux that she lives so far away, but she's doing what she wanted to do... so I guess that's great for her. Connie gets along really well with her as well, so maybe we'll visit her sometime in the next few months.

The afternoon was spent visiting one Mr Chito Lam, proudly hobbling about in a cast and suprisingly a lot more mobile than on previous visits. His mum cooked for about 6 hours while we were there just serving all his friends food. She made me and chenny gyudon because we like it heaps :\ There was some movie watching, some charades, some cribbage, some guitar playing... it was nice to see everyone again. Especially phil, who I never seem to meet up with.

Chenny and I left chito's house at about one AM looking to go skating, but everything was wet from the rain, so we parked in lidcombe station carpark and just practised ollies. I played some more guitar as well. It was totally the year ten thing to be doing on a saturday night :D

Anyways all in all it was a mad day.
