gomen!
Part of my company is being purchased by a large multinational. http://www.hyperion.com/news_events/news_releases/press_release_2004_00283.cfm How excitement :\ Unfortunately I don't think it's going to be exciting, profitable, or a change o' scene for me at least. We really don't know much about what's going on at the moment since we are but peons in a greater game. WORK COMPLETE! WE NEED MORE GOLD! ME NOT THAT KIND OF ORC!

Anyways after work I went and played some DDR with chenny for a while, and we were supposed to meet up with shelle and gus for teppanyaki. No one could really be bothered so me and chenny just went to shinoya at lidcombe for some eats. They have uber good food there. I dunno if I'd say INSANELY good, but it was definately enjoyable. After eats connie picked us up and we watched the skating footage from last night. Simmo ollied over coggo in one of the clips, that was pretty mad. I drove chenny home, it didn't take too long.

sk8er boi
Wells, yesterday was awesome. The triple B leaders came over to my house for a bit of a hang out and we got pizza and played DDR. It was awesome just talking to everyone again, and hanging out. We actually watched some transformers as well, which carl was particularly keen on. It was a great night. After people started leaving a few of us went down to the snake run to skate, I took lots of video and some photos. It was just heaps fun. Simmo ollied over coggo's head which is pretty scary... but he's really good at it.

After skating we went and got juice and went home. I stayed up chatting to ruthy and stace til like 2am because I don't get to see them much. They stayed the night on the futon :D

the hot hand
Wells, today was so-so. Work was quite shmeh, but after it I went for a skate with chenny, then headed off to basketball. Basketball was mad. It totally felt like we won the game because we were playing well and scoring more than them, but we seemed to always be down by 3 points. The bench was totally corrupt. While I was over there they put up a 3 pointer when it was only a 2, and in the first half they added a basket that didn't exist. Next time we play them I'm getting connie to do duty, she'll crack down on their cheating ways. I got 13 points though I think, so that was cool.

getting sloppy
Gah! work is so busy I think I missed a post... Or did I? I was pretty much sick all day anyways. I did manage to make a nice stir fry in the night time with this nandos sauce thing, but that's about the highlight of my day. In other news, my digital camera is broken. I feel so creatively stifled. Like someone tried to put out my creative fire by sitting on it.

Speaking of which, apparently some dude tried to put out the eternal fire at the arch de triumph by sitting on it and had to go to hospital for the burns. Ouch. Last year an Australian dude got arrested for trying to cook an egg on the flame. Hehe sounds like my kinda guy.

Have you seen this tallboy?
Connie and myself woke up feeling putridly sick but we had a few things that needed doing so we pushed through the wall and got them done. We drove over to moore park supa centre and made an enquiry as to why we had paid for a tall boy and bedsides but not received them for 2 months. The answer was a resounding "I don't know". I picked up warlords battlecry 3 while I was there, because I liked the sequel a lot. I hope it's not really crap.

Church was cool, some of the triple B kids came along. It was nice to see them again.

I'm a real boy!
I slept for ages this monring because I was sick and run down from being at triple B. I missed soccer and filming which is :( but I got to spend a whole day with connie which is :).

We cleaned up a bit, had some soup then went out to the doctorb (the b is for bargain). It was a 2 hour wait, so we went and grabbed dinner. I had the best fish and chips I've had for ages! and we basically just bummed around for a while before getting to the doctor for a 5 min visit :\ anyhoo, afterwards we went and saw shrek 2. It was pretty meh. Nice story but not really that funny. I had all the good bits spoiled for me at triple B by the multitude of shrek fans there.

In other news: Hillsong are #1 in the Aria album charts atm. I wonder why they don't have the CD on the albums chart at like HMV? I know its like "ew Christianity! get away or I might scare some of our customers!" but wouldn't they want a slice of that cash? All burwood HMV had was like an old hills album and some Darlene Czech stuff. Pretty weird. I'm actually quite keen to check out the new alex lloyd album. If it's good I'll pick it up.
