Today was a kinda weird day all round. In my sick-induced braindead skateboarding haze, I managed to run into a frond of some kind of bush and tear a hole in my favourite shirt, the green forum one. Needless to say I was devestated. I'll have to buy another next time I'm at the snow.
I got to work uber late and found out a mini-epademic has hit our office. EVERYONE has been calling in sick. It's rediculous. There was only one guy in our whole room who wasn't sick or getting over a sickness. He was saying he should take "well leave" so that he doesn't catch anything from all us other deseased workers.
So i worked late, and trudged off home, only to open the door and find to my suprise that the whole house stunk of gas. I had a blocked nose that would rival the snowy mountains scheme for water retention but I could still smell it. So I opened all the windows and lit one of those fire lighters and walked around the house sort of testing for gas :D it was everywhere, it took like two hours to get rid of the smell. I'm totally not looking forward to getting my gas bill :D
Later on in the night, I was making some tea later in the night and a gigantic huntsman spider was frollicking around in the sink. Now we might share a name, but me and any kind of spiders don't get along very well, so it was time to lay down some shmack. I took a swipe at the gangly fiend with my converse all star of death, but only managed to dismember it, relieving it of one of its front legs. Just then I remembered those wise words propogated to us by that great movie of our time - starship troopers: If you aim for the leg, the creature will remain 80% combat effective, instead you should aim for the brain! So with a few quick swings the beast was laid to rest in the battlegrounds of my sink, and buried with the garbage, in a grave of plastic bin.
I'm still pretty freaked out by the whole thing though :(

Another day of sickness. I managed to get a few things done today though. What I wanna know is why do you get a runny nose when you have a cold? Is your body trying to pump out the bacteria through your nose or something? It seems a bit bizarre if you ask me.
I caught up with two people I don't talk to too much anymore today, steve & natalie. We were chatting on ventrillo and basically just shooting the breeze. I also linked them to my blog, so hihi~~ asl? if you are reading this :D
I couldn't get to sleep either, so if that continues, maybe I'll post some cool photos on my blog with the extra time I have on my hands.

I had the day off work because I was still sick. Didn't really feel like playing basketball, but we only had 4 so i ended up playing. It wasn't a hard game, and it fdelt good to get some exercise. A guy from the other team busted up his ankle in the game... must be the season for it :0

Sickness...
Wells, I pretty much just slept and cleaned up the LAN today. I'm feeling pretty sick at the moment, just a cold and stuff. I dunno if I'll be working or basketballing tomorrow. Anyway... I managed to deliver chito some chicken nuggets, and also see some zion dudes, so the day wasn't completely wasted. Although my blog is definately a more boring read when I am house bound. What about I make up somethign interesting? Here goes:
Today I scored a home run in the superbowl to win the series! Afterwards the whole team went to mcdonalds to celebrate, and I won a free softserve. The doctor told me this afternoon I only have 3 months to live :( but I got the girl, and lived happily ever after
even my making stuff up sux. Maybe I need some vitamins :D

Saturday
We were at the LAN, playing some warcraft, when we decided to go skating for a little while to get some air, and shoot the breeze. Myself, chenny, coggo and chito piled in the chitomobile and fanged on down to lidcombe skate bowl. Chito was happily peetering around in the carpark, while the rest of us were riding the bowl, and just taking it easy.
Chito was doing quite well on the flat carpark, so he decided to progress to the perils of the shallow end of the bowl. After a shaky start, and a nasty fall, chito was on his way to tony hawk-dom skating the shallow end nicely. Well, as every good extreme sportsmen knows, enough is nevar enough, so chito decided to go that little bit higher, that little bit further. Unfortunately, gravity caught up with chito and he fell heavily on his ankle.
Chenny and myself helped him up, after a good 5 mins of lying on the concrete clutching his ankle... and we stumbled over to the car. I was designated abulence man, due to my limited but superior knowledge of hospital locations, and we drove off trying to figure out what the hell we were going to do. We agreed that auburn hospital would be a good place to start, because of its convinient close proximity to my house, so we ushered him into the emergency ward there in a wheelchair.
The hospital staff were really nice, and they have been laughing and joking with us a lot. Their diagnosises (is that even a word?) need some consistency though. At first we were sure that it was broken, and chito was stripped and put into a gown. We left him there for the night to await x-rays the next day.
I popped in this morning and it seemed like it's not as bad as we first thought. The x-rays didn't show anything abnormal, but he had a cast on, so they said they would take some more. Just to check that it's really all good. I bid chito adieu and went to eat some sweet sweet breakfast. Chito had had only one bowl of gyudon in the last 30 something hours as food (red chito needs food badly).
It's about this time that our story takes a twist. Gus came round to pick up his box, and brought shelle with him Now if none of you believe in presdestined fate, then I assure you this will change your mind. Shelle came to visit chito at the hospital, and when we got their he informed us that he has a spiral fracture. THe same kind of break that shelle had 2 weeks ago. Well, we had a bit of a field day taking photos and ribbing chito (no more "karma?" comments plz kthx!) until we had to go. He has gone into surgery in the last half hour, and he should be at auburn hospital until tuesday. Come visit, and stop by my house on the way through.
Overall chito is doing well, he's not in a HUGE amount of pain, and he's managed to keep his sense of humour and have a bit of fun in a bad circumstance. Photos located at:

in conclusion:
hunt: "he wont be able to snowboard, and he just bought a board in japan"
coggo: "aw... he'll have to lend it to me"
chenny: "it is an oxygen though man... you might be better off hiring"
Friday
I went to headshot (gaming place) with the zion dudes tonight. It was ok... but it wasn't much of a challenge We played some cs, dc, other various acronymns. I'm not really sure how, but one of the kids got their phone stolen, so that was a rather crap end to a good night of zion.
After zion I went to the snake run at lidcombe with coggo and dee. We skated until about 2am and then played some networked games until we fell asleep in the wasd position.
